GSA Meeting and pictures
There will be a GSA meeting after school in room 249 on Wednesday, January 16th. We will catch up and address some possible activities for the second semester, then we are scheduled to take a yearbook picture at 4:25. We suggest wearing a GSA or Day of Silence T-shirt for the picture if you have one.
GSA Meeting
There will be a short meeting after school on Thursday in room 342 to debrief on Ally Week, provide field trip permission forms for the Big Gay Gathering on December 7th, and collect T-shirt money from those who have not yet paid. See you then!
T-shirts
Argo's GSA will be taking T-shirt orders for the design displayed at this past Wednesday's meeting until Tuesday, November 20th. Cost is $5 and you can see Ms. Haack in 146, Ms. Walsh in 249, or Mr. Padilla in 342 to place your order.
Ally Week
The GSA will be celebrating Ally Week from Monday, November 19th-Wednesday, November 21st.

Ally Week is a national youth-led effort empowering students to be allies against anti-LGBT bullying and harassment. If you believe that schools should be safe, supportive places for all students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, stop in the cafeteria and sign the pledge to be an Ally and keep our school a welcoming place for all students.

Also, you can visibly show your support by wearing Argo's Ally Week colors:
BLUE - MONDAY
PURPLE - TUESDAY
PINK - WEDNESDAY.
GSA Meeting
There will be a GSA meeting after school on Wednesday, November 14, in room 342. We will address Ally Week, T-shirts, and a potential field trip.
Gay Straight Alliance Meeting
Next Tuesday, October 16, the GSA will meet in room 249. It’s time to touch base on the status of our Argo LGBTQ world and your experience in relation to it!

Our meeting is sandwiched between today, National Coming Out Day, and Red Ribbon Week of October 22, when bullying will be one topic given attention. We’ll address our next GSA activities and maybe have some conversation about coming out, bullying, or other relevant topics.

So come join us and bring a friend. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
GSA Meeting
The Gay Straight Alliance will hold its first meeting of the year after school on Tuesday, September 11, in room 249. We will address possible activities for this school year and begin our planning. All students are welcome whether gay, straight, or otherwise. Come join us and bring a friend!
